Wow, I didn't realize Buddy was still....relevant, or that people were still talking about him. He's my (great) uncle and I grew up with him around. I tell stories to my kids all the time about Buddy, he really was larger than life. We share (shared) a love of sailing and corresponded (via letters! Yes old school!) about our sailing adventures to his dying day. He wrote a great book about his biggest sailing adventure called Polynesian Concept. I have some great stories of Buddy, when he came Thanksgivings to visit us in Willow Glen, or when we sailed down to stay with him at Balboa Island and sailed on his fast sailing catamarans. Thinking about it, I have a lot of good stories about Buddy and my aunt Vilma back in the Vaudeville days (now these are told by Buddy, so take them with a grain of salt, he believed in telling a good, "tall", tale at the dinner table). Cheryl was my favorite ángel as when I started watching Charlie’s Angels was when she was entering the show! I connected with her and wanted to be just like her when I grew up!🤭 Turns out our birthdays are just 2 days apart, mine is 7/10 and Cheryl’s is 7/12!!
